Alameda/Oakland Ferry (http://www.eastbayferry.com) - This passenger ferry passes the Yerba Buena Lighthouse in San Francisco Bay.

Los Angeles Sightseeing Cruises (http://lasightseeingcruises.com) - offers views of LA's lighthouses through a variety of tours. (NOTE: actual tour offerings vary with the season - call (800) 900-8188 for the current tour schedule.)

Long Legg Charters (http://www.geocities.com/fishlonglegg/) - Capt. Kevin Legg offers customized charters, as well as fishing charters and ecological tours of the 1000 Islands. Boston Harbor Cruises (http://www.bostonharborcruises.com/) - Offers several tours of Boston Harbor, including an outstanding tour of many of the lights of Massachusetts.

Boston Harbor Islands (http://www.bostonislands.org/) - Official site of the Boston Harbor Islands National Park Area. Offers boat tours to several of the islands, including Little Brewster Island - home of the Boston Harbor light. Tours include a trip to the top of the tower. This trip is well worth the time.

Cuttyhunk.net (http://www.cuttyhunk.net/) - offers information on transportation to the island of Cuttyhunk.

Captain John Boats (http://www.captjohn.com/) - Whale watches and harbor tours from Plymouth. Provides close-up view of Duxbury Pier light and distant views of Plymouth light.

Hy-Line Cruises (http://www.hy-linecruises.com/) - Offers conventional and high-speed ferry service to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.

Nantucket Adventures (http://www.nantucketadventures.com/) - offer a wide variety of tours of the Nantucket area.

Newburyport Harbor Tours (http://www.harbortours.com/) - Tours the Merrimack River in Newburport; provides view of the Newburyport Range lights. The educational tour also presents the area from an ecological perspective.

Baltimore Water Taxis (http://www.thewatertaxi.com/) - offers transportation within Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Provides views of the Seven Foot Knoll lighthouse and the Chesapeake (LV116) lighthship.

Chesapeake Lights (http://www.chesapeakelights.com/) - offers a variety of tours of the offshore lighthouses of the Chesapeake Bay. Tours visit up to 10 lighthouses of the bay. We took this tour in Summer 2005 and would highly recommend it.

Delaware River and Bay Authority (http://www.drba.net/) - information on the ferry between Lewes, DE and Cape May, NJ. The ferries pass the Delaware Breakwater East End and Harbor of Refuge lights.

Harbor Cruises (http://www.harborcruises.com/) - offers tours of Baltimore's harbor.

Watermark Cruises (http://www.watermarkwatertaxi.com/index.shtml) - offers tours that pass several lighthouses near Annapolis, MD.

Northwest Schooner Society (http://www.schoonerzodiac.com/) - Non-profit organization offering tours to raise funds to restore and preserve Burrows Island Lighthouse in Washington State. In 2005, they offered a tour from October 13-16, 2005. Go to the website for current information.
